Eastbourne holiday accommodation ideal for seaside breaks
Enjoy seaside breaks in Eastbourne, the UK’s sunniest spot, in this characterful holiday apartment close to the sea.
Set in a prime central location just behind the Grand Hotel in Lower Meads, Eastbourne, this sunny fully furnished flat is just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and promenade and also the Congress Theatre, Towner Gallery, Winter Gardens and Devonshire Park theatre.
You can imagine the difficult decisions you’ll face whilst holidaying here – do you have a swim before or after checking out the latest exhibition at the Towner? Maybe reward yourself for that aerobic dip with coffee and cake at the beachside cafe you’ll pass on the way? Why not, indeed!
Brand new to our hand-picked portfolio of holiday homes for Spring 2024, Seaside Hideout will prove very popular for seaside breaks, ticking many boxes for our holiday guests.
Think stacks of natural light and a tranquil, arty, Boho vibe – with eclectic furnishings, woven rugs, creative artwork and chock- full of personality. You won’t find sleek modernity here, but ease yourself into the laid-back scene.
You’ll enjoy the top (3rd) floor setting of this holiday rental – there isn’t a lift in the building, but consider the lack of one a benefit after all the freshly baked cakes you’ll be enjoying at Urban Ground Cafe down the road. Talking of cakes, take a look at our recommended places to eat and drink in Eastbourne.
There are two bedrooms; both with kingsize beds (and one with a glimpse of the sea !) – making this ideal for up to four people. It will suit friends who fancy a break by the sea for rest and relaxation or to take in a show at the theatres in the Devonshire Quarter, and is ideally situated for spending time pottering around the independent shops, galleries and cafes in Little Chelsea, Eastbourne.
The spacious living room has a large sofa and chair in front of the smart TV where you can chill out after a busy day exploring the Sussex coast.
Those needing to open a laptop and seeking some quiet space will appreciate the separate study for detachment. Please note that this room has different levels and guests are only permitted to use the initial entry room level and must not climb up on to the plant-barricaded platform or open stairs beyond. This is not a suitable room for children because of the potential risk of the open stairway so if you come with little ones, please use the bolt on the outside of the door of the room to keep it locked off at your discretion.
The kitchen shares the same sense of calm, with wooden surfaces and a small table seating four optimising the natural light by the window. There is a fridge freezer, gas stove, oven and grill plus a washing machine, kettle, toaster and a good range of utensils and equipment that you’ll need for self catering accommodation.
The delightful bathroom has a bath with a overhead rain shower, with an extra shower head for flexibility.
All linen and regular towels are provided (but please bring your own beach / swimming towels) with additional linen supplied for stays of two weeks or more. Free WiFi is also provided and there is a parking space for one car.
