Dog friendly holiday home by the sea

A holiday home by the sea can’t come much better placed than Promenade View, a brand new holiday flat in a prime Eastbourne location a stone’s throw from Eastbourne Pier, beach and promenade.

Part of a new seafront development, history buffs will marvel in the significance of the building – known as Sea House and where Charles Darwin wrote part of Origin of Species back in 1852. Just remember that you’re in good company when you stare out to sea!

Promenade View is located on the ground floor of the building, making this great for those with more limited mobility. There is also a parking space directly outside again making this as easy as possible for access (although not adapted for wheelchairs). We can provide additional permits for on-street parking for just £2 per day.

There are two bedrooms which provide flexible holiday accommodation for up to four people, with a kingsize bedroom and a twin bedroom with two single beds.

The sister apartments upstairs are Pier View immediately above on the first floor and Horizon View on the second floor – each sleep up to four people meaning that extended families and groups of friends can rent the whole building for up to 12 people. As an added bonus, Promenade View will also consider a small dog (supplement applies) so pet parents can also join in the family fun.

All three apartments are furnished similarly with a comfortable L-shaped sofa in the living room providing a welcoming spot to rest after a day exploring all the attractions of Eastbourne and East Sussex.  There are also Smart TVs in the living room and both bedrooms, so no need to fight over the remote!

Right on your doorstep you’ll find Redoubt (a Napolionic fort) and the carpet gardens, plus the Wish Tower and Holywell along the promenade to the west, or head east for Sovereign Harbour marina.

As you’d expect from a high quality holiday home by the sea, the kitchen is well equipped for all your self catering needs with oven, grill, hob, dishwasher, kettle, washing machine, toaster, fridge-freezer, coffee machine and plates, cutlery, etc.

The Small Print

Minimum age of lead guest is 25+. Smoking is not permitted. No parties.

A dog is considered on a selective basis and, if approved, a £50 supplement will apply. Please contact Exclusively Eastbourne to discuss your pet if you wish to bring them. Any pet given permission to come must not be allowed on the beds or furniture or left in the property alone. They must only use a pet bed and pet bowls that you bring with you. You will be expected to clean up after your pet and are liable for any damage it causes. Please bring a separate towel for your dog to wipe muddy / sandy paws before entering the apartment.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days and shorter lets may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
