The Lock is a well located furnished apartment, available for bookings of three months or longer, with a private terrace you simply won’t want to leave, offering direct sunshine for much of the day.

Set on the first floor, you are in a prime location literally next to the lock, where you can gaze over marina life, with fishing boats, cruisers and yachts passing by. There is lift access up to your apartment, making this an excellent option for those with mobility challenges needing accessible accommodation.

It’s a stylish apartment, but also comfortable and practical. There is comfortable seating in the lounge from which to take in the scene, or relax in front of the TV and DVD player.  The dining table seats four and provides a focal point to plan the next day’s adventures around Eastbourne.

The separate kitchen is well equipped for self catering holidays, packed with all the utensils you’ll need, including an oven, hob, fridge (with small freezer compartment), microwave, dishwasher and a washer dryer.

The two bedrooms (one double and one twin) sleep up to four, making this an ideal choice for families or friends sharing Eastbourne holidays together.  The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room (cubicle), and there is also a family bathroom, with a bath and hand-held shower to rinse your hair.

 

Pets are not permitted. Strictly no smoking.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
