Looking for holiday homes moments from Eastbourne beach?

Holiday homes in Eastbourne are in high demand and Sea Downs, brand new to our portfolio, will prove a big hit with visitors looking for a seaside escape in the UK’s sunniest spot.

Located just off the Eastbourne seafront in a prime location in Lower Meads, adjacent to the iconic Grand Hotel, this two-bedroom holiday apartment even has side-sea views from its balcony terrace.

It is moments from Eastbourne theatres such as the Congress, Winter Gardens and the Devonshire Park Theatre, and is close to the Towner Eastbourne –  the contemporary art gallery which is hosting this year’s Turner Prize and well as many free exhibitions, including the Sussex landscapes depicted by Eric Ravilious.

Step out of your holiday accommodation to the Western Lawns on the seafront, where there are often events, and potter along the promenade past the Wish Towner to the classic Victorian pier. Or head towards Holywell for coffee and cake at the Tea Chalet and then up to Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters which sit within the South Downs National Park.

Central Eastbourne is just a few minutes walk away from this holiday home, with the Beacon Centre and its many shops, the multiscreen Cineworld, plus tempting restaurants and cafes.  However even closer, on Compton Street and just behind the Grand Hotel are some handy shops and a wine bar, plus some great eateries on nearby Carlisle Road, including fish & chips, a Thai restaurant and a fabulous ice cream parlour.

Eastbourne train station is about 10 minutes walk away, which has direct trains to Brighton, Gatwick Airport, Lewes and London – and there is a taxi rank right outside the station if you have luggage.

Eastbourne has a packed diary of entertainment and events all year round. Witness the thrills of Eastbourne’s free international airshow, Airbourne, the excitement of the pre-Wimbledon tennis championships at Devonshire Park or the impressive athletes and scenery of the challenging Beachy Head Marathon.
