If you’re looking for a spacious Eastbourne holiday flat close to Meads village, Kent House with its high ceilings could be just the answer. Set in an imposing 1890s building that was formerly a ‘school for gentlemen’, this short term let offers great South Downs Way accommodation.
Kent House is just off the seafront, close to Meads village shops and amenities. Eastbourne‘s theatres are 15 minutes walk away, with the main town centre just five minutes further.
The lounge/dining room is flooded with natural light and has a smart TV, plenty of comfortable seating, and a large dining table with chairs. The galley kitchen is well kitted out for self catering holidays including a fridge freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher and cooking utensils. A washer dryer is housed in a cupboard off the kitchen, along with the microwave.
The master bedroom has a super-kingsize bed, large fitted wardrobe and plenty of storage for clothes in a large chest of drawers. The second bedroom is also spacious, with a further super-kingsize bed – and as beds in both bedrooms can be split into twin beds (making four single beds overall), this is a great apartment for couples, families or friends looking for a coastal escape.
The family bathroom has a bath with shower over.

die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Ausstattung war super, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. es gibt in der Nähe sehr schöne Wanderwege (fußläufig entfernt). Die Umgebung sehr ruhig, nachts keine Störung (kein Verkehrlärm). Bette sehr gemütlich. Für die Selbstversorgung an alles gedacht (Ausstattung Küche). besser mit Mietauto, um einzukaufen. Ansonsten zu Fuß bis zu halben Stunde Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Die Gastgeber, Sarah und Carl waren immer gut erreichbar und sehr nett. vielen Dank! To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
