Family-friendly holiday cottages in Pevensey Bay need to offer comfortable space for everyone, essential practicalities and easy access to the beach – preferably with room for your dog, too. Coastal Hideaway ticks all the boxes!

With three bedrooms, this holiday cottage is ideal for families and friends of up to six people. The master bedroom has a kingsize double bed which can be split into two single beds. The second bedroom has a double bed, whilst the third has two single beds, ensuring the holiday rental provides flexible accommodation.  All bedrooms have blackout curtains to help ensure a good night’s sleep, which is just as well given how much walking on the beach and swimming in the sea you’ll likely be enjoying.

The private, enclosed rear garden is a wonderful complement to the beach at the end of your road.  A chance to dust off the sand, escape from any wind and unwind on a sun lounger on the patio terrace or enjoy the feel of grass on your feet on the lawn. West facing, the garden is a real sun trap and a perfect spot to top up a tan.

There is a delightful conservatory overlooking the garden with seating and views. Kick off your shoes, curl up with a book and revel in an afternoon nap!

Inside the main living space, you can relax on the two reclining leather sofas in the lounge, with patio doors offering great views over the rear garden.  Or plan your next adventure in the dining area, at the table that can extend to seat six.

The separate kitchen is well equipped for self catering with a gas hob, oven, fridge-freezer, combi microwave, washing machine, smoothie maker, kettle and toaster.

The family sized bathroom has a full-size bath and a separate, walk-in shower, plus a shower seat is available if needed.

Smoking or vaping is not permitted in this property. No parties. Minimum age of lead guest is 25+

Dogs are considered on a selective basis and, if approved, a £50 supplement will apply per dog. Please contact Exclusively Eastbourne to discuss your pet if you wish to bring them. Any pet given permission to come must not be allowed on the beds or furniture or left in the property alone. They must only use a pet bed and pet bowls that you bring with you. You will be expected to clean up after your pet and are liable for any damage it causes. Please bring a separate towel for your dog to wipe muddy / sandy paws before entering the house.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Sunday to Sunday in peak season, although flexible arrival days are possible out of season from November to March.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit. The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
