Brand new to our portfolio, Silverdale Hideaway offers a surprisingly spacious Eastbourne studio in a prime Lower Meads location that will prove very popular with single travellers and couples who fancy a seaside escape in this beautiful part of Eastbourne in East Sussex.

Those in search of culture will love the fact that Eastbourne theatres are a stroll away – Congress Theatre, Devonshire Park Theatre, Winter Gardens – and the Towner Gallery which played host to last year’s Turner Prize are literally at the end of the road, so you could plan your stay around a play or show direct from the West End.

The beach is a very pleasant 10 minute’s walk, with easy access to Eastbourne Pier, the carpet gardens, and a similar distance to pop into Eastbourne town centre – with the Beacon Centre (with the Cineworld multiplex cinema, Marks and Spencer and a host of big brand shops), cafes, banks and restaurants.

You can enjoy eating al fresco at this Eastbourne studio – with your own private outside terrace which makes for a delightful spot for breakfast, listening to the birds and catching a few rays of sunshine.

Inside, you’ll enter a handy lobby for coats and bags before main living area is bathed in natural light.

Thoughtfully compartmentalised, the seating area is next to the windows overlooking the terrace with comfy seating and a Smart TV.

There is a kingsize bed and also a handy separate workspace for those who need to catch up on emails or those enjoying digital nomad status.

The kitchen is surprising well stocked with a hob and oven, microwave, washing machine, fridge, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. Handy self catering facilities to pack picnics for the beach or to re-fuel after a day swimming, paddle-boarding and hiking on the hills just up the road.

The newly refurbished bathroom boasts a spotless bath with a shower over and there is lashings of hot water, plus central heating on demand if the weather turns chilly making this Eastbourne studio an excellent choice for stays all year.

Smoking is not permitted in this property. No pets permitted. No children permitted - adults only property.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
