The Guesthouse East offers six spacious and flexible self catering holiday suites in a Grade II-listed Regency villa just off the seafront on a tranquil side-street in central Eastbourne.
Placed 1st in The Independent’s Top 50 B&Bs, this unique self catering accommodation offers complete flexibility with the option of Bed and Breakfast.
The period property retains original features throughout, with large sash windows allowing natural light to cascade onto feature fireplaces, with high ceilings enhancing the feeling of space.
Each suite has a stylish bedroom with kingsize or twin beds, spacious bathroom and kitchen with fridge, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and pots / pans – so you can prepare food when it suits you. There are also the usual facilities you’d expect from a four-star establishment – TV/DVD player, free WiFi, hairdryer, fluffy towels, toiletries and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits.
Some suites also offer sofa beds or futons that provide excellent beds for children. The baby and child-friendly accommodation also offers travel cots, sterilisers, high chairs, books and toys free of charge which can help lighten your packing.
If you don’t fancy preparing your own food, you can always enjoy breakfast in the friendly, informal dining room.
A delicious full cooked breakfast is available for £9 per adult (£5 for under 12s) or a continental style buffet breakfast with cereals, breads for toasting, fruit, yoghurt, juices, tea/coffee etc for just £5 per person, (£3.50 for under 12s).
There is also a seventh family ensuite bedroom – which doesn’t have a kitchen, but can comfortably accommodate families of four or five. If you want to take over the whole house, it can accommodate up to 22 people, with futons and sofabeds in use.
